In 2021, medical and pharmaceutic areas have spread out the extremities. Thus, conducting clinical research is not that easy as it seems. One of such institutions that helped bring change in the world is the DaVinci Research LLC. Founder and CEO of DaVinci Research LLC, Vardenik Rose Khalatyan, is an extravagant yet fervent personality who gave the company the position it is in now. Born in Armenia, Rose shifted to the United States when she was 13 and immediately picked up her passion in the healthcare region. Essentially, Rose prefers to have a balanced living, wherein when she’s not working, she spends some quality time with her husband and two beautiful girls.

Developing the interest in Healthcare Industry

Since the time Rose was young, she always had a zeal to learn something interesting and novel. Mainly, her parents were her role models, so she always attempted to do what they did. Goodwill and benevolence were something her parents always believed in, and Rose also tried to do the same. Even though Rose had not decided what she wanted to do with her life, her parents inculcated such values in her like empathy and generosity that has helped her to become a good human being.

Rose always had the zest to influence the people around her, leave her footprints wherever she goes, and make a distinction in her life. She didn’t want to be like an ordinary person, she always wanted to change the perspective of people and to be a potent personality like she is now.

Rose states, “Ever since I was a child, I knew the things I wanted out of this world. Did not know what it was going to take to get there, but I knew what I wanted. My decision to become a researcher did not come in a moment of blinding revelation, but because of a variety of experiences which began when I moved to the United States at the age of thirteen.” Her focus has mainly stayed in the healthcare sector.

Helping others with DaVinci Research

DaVinci Research is a professional conglomerate that is dedicated solely to working for the betterment of people by clinical trial research. They work with unique pharmaceutical industries and medical research programs that provide radical treatments to the people who have been diagnosed with moot and unsettled medical conditions. They collaborate with different organizations and partners to ensure they can provide very little to free of cost services to the patients.

She states,  “We are a small company, making a big difference for patients struggling with unresolved medical conditions. Our small but mighty team has led the country in several major studies in recent years, seeing exciting developments become available to all patients. We are passionate about the importance of the work we do. Without medical research, solutions to health problems like the current COVID-19 pandemic would not happen. At DVR, we are advancing medicine, one patient, one study at a time.”

Life as the CEO of the company

Rose was born in Armenia but moved to the United States when she was thirteen without knowing a single English word. She also fought the challenge of being an outsider in an American school. Rose further adds, “Striving and succeeding have been the most important elements for me when growing up. My soul was occasionally thundered, waiting to attack and let out trembling cried, but I did not allow it to happen. I realized life is full of obstacles and difficult challenges, and one who is strong enough to fight and recover from the is the true successor.”

Rose considers herself to be very humble as she has the compassion that is required to run an institution. Humbleness has helped her always to shift her attention and focus from herself to the people around her suffering in need. Rose says, “I never try to be someone that I am not. I know who I am and behave in a way that is consistent with that knowledge, and always recognize where there’s room for improvement.  I try to be consistent and disciplined when it comes to treating others with respect. My leadership is always lead by an example rather than words.”

DaVinci Research has reached this position only because of the vision that Rose and her business partner pursued. They led this company to so much success but with lots of determination, hard work, and perseverance too. Rose and her partner took advantage of all the opportunities they were given and didn’t let them go in vain. They worked really hard so that their team and the company could get welfare.

She states, “I am open-minded and can assimilate information from my team to develop creative solutions for us. I believe and live by understanding the power of feelings and being able to show empathy to those around me.”

Another factor that helps this corporation work better is the fact that Rose possesses so much passion and devotion for the betterment of the people. She adds, “I try to inspire my team to be passionate by expressing genuine enthusiasms and articulating why the organization does what it does and how we make a difference in our patient’s lives and how us working for a great cause and purpose helps our patients and our community.”

She believes that when anyone sets goals to develop oneself rather than a physical symbol of success, he/she is more likely to achieve them.

There may be a need for a physical symbol to drive to measure progress, but it is the journey that brings change, and the journey is the reward.

She states, “There is more we can provide to our community and to our patients through research and medicine. Seeing new exciting developments become available to all patients is when I realized the work that we do have a purpose, and we are making a difference for patients struggling with unresolved medical conditions. Working in a team and leading one is my motivation to do a good job. United we stand divided we fall has been my mantra for success right along.”

Attaining work-life balance

Rose believes that by finding ways to increase efficiency and productivity by managing the time at hand, everyone can achieve a work-life balance.

She states, “I am a firm believer that when you enjoy what you do, it does not feel like a chore and you are able to get through it a lot easier. “Work smarter. Not harder”. I follow this piece of advice often and lead my team to do the same. When we can streamline the process and become efficient, we can then focus less on the total amount of hours worked. I pride myself on giving 100% of my attention to the task at hand.”

On the personal front, she makes some away time in which she cherishes the special moments with her loved ones.

Enlightenment to upcoming entrepreneurs

Rose believes that starting a company is possibly the hardest thing anyone could ever choose to do. It is stressful, incredibly difficult, and has a 98% failure rate.

She expresses, “Doing the work that excites and motivates you is what is going to help you be successful. Please understand there will never a perfect time to start a business. You need to take the risk and just do it. Believe in yourself and have a vision and a desire to create it. Keep your vision always clear and find a purpose and a meaning in what you do.”

Being a successful entrepreneur takes a lot of work, dedication, motivation, and a lot of perseverance.
