As a result, he always carries an air of humility, is always there for others, and remains open to suggestions and ideas.

“I value honesty in both success and failure, take responsibility, and show the humility to learn from others,” Faris says.

Essential Leadership Qualities

Faris considers “patience” and “adaptability” the two most important leadership traits. “Patience grants steadiness and calmness when facing crises and dealing with risks,” he explains. “Believing that God is with the patient, and that patience is the key to relief, always reminds me that any event or problem is fleeting and temporary.”

He also points out that circumstances never remain the same, and when they change, adaptability allows one to respond with flexibility. Faris says this mindset encourages seeking innovative solutions instead of giving in.

“When it comes to obstacles, believing that nothing stays the same is a constant in leadership,” he adds. He is always careful to maintain self-control, stay prepared for different possibilities, and turn challenges into opportunities for growth and success.

The Most Impactful Project

Faris has been involved in several remarkable projects. The one he finds most impactful is a real estate development currently under construction and study in the city of Jeddah. “The unique aspect of this project is that it combines sustainability with cultural identity and innovation,” he points out.

This project, Faris believes, reflects the Kingdom’s vision that building is not just about constructing structures but also about creating the future and shaping balance. “It brings together people and the environment,” he says.

Decision-Making and Empowering Team

Faris is not an authoritative leader. He believes in empowering his team, and according to him, empowerment starts with trust. He gives his team space to take responsibility and always makes sure to celebrate during their gatherings.

He has created an environment where successes are shared and everyone learns together from the challenges they encounter. “This culture makes every individual feel like a true partner in success,” he says.

When it comes to making decisions, Faris aligns vision with reality, transparency, and open communication with colleagues and stakeholders. He explains that a good decision is not limited to being technically and financially correct but must also be aligned with values and strategy.

“And for the company’s long-term strategy, I rely on systematic planning and priority management,” Faris points out. “I always try to cultivate self-discipline, remain calm, and view challenges as opportunities for growth.”

Proudest Achievement: Building Teams and Projects

Faris is proud to have contributed to building teams and projects that have positively impacted people’s lives and the communities they have served with diligence and sincerity. “Every improvement or step forward brought me great joy,” he says.

He also believes his mission as a human being and a leader is to leave a mark that serves humanity, contributes to development and prosperity, and helps make the world a better place for their children.

Staying Ahead of Trends

Faris intends to stay ahead of trends by combining a global vision with local understanding, in line with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to build a strong, thriving, and stable Saudi Arabia that provides opportunities for all.

To keep pace with the rapidly changing technological and economic landscape worldwide, Faris regularly attends professional and academic conferences and gatherings. He also makes sure to apply what he learned in ways that benefit society and the economy while preserving their authentic values and traditions.

Work-Life Balance

Faris finds it challenging to maintain a work-life balance when looking toward the future. “I am still learning and trying to do as much as I can every day,” he points out. As a leader striving to accomplish big goals while navigating challenges, maintaining work-life balance is proving to be “very difficult” for him. “But I work hard to achieve this balance as much as possible,” Faris says.

Mentorship: Investment in People

Faris is a great advocate of mentoring others. He points out that mentoring is an investment in people. He believes that it is essential to share knowledge and experience with the team, in addition to encouraging them to take initiatives and assume responsibility.

“We urge every leader to open the door for others to grow, innovate, and develop,” Faris says. “This is their right.”

Advice for Aspiring Leaders

Faris is an inspirational figure for many aspiring leaders in the Middle East and beyond. He is admired for his ability to turn every challenge into an opportunity. According to him, change, no matter how difficult, can serve as a starting point for rebuilding in a better way.

Faris offers a few pieces of advice to aspiring leaders. One is to raise standards of quality and commitment. This, according to him, will ensure that a culture of excellence is present in everything they do. He also encourages them to hold on to integrity and act with humanity.

“And, in everything you do, what matters is that you contribute to building your community and leave an impact that goes beyond individual achievements,” Faris tells aspiring leaders.
